The weekly reports
What each report covers
Each report tracks the developments shaping Europe’s space industry, including:
- Contracts and orders for flagship programmes such as Galileo and IRIS²
- Funding, investment and financing for European space companies
- Launch activity, spaceport progress and launcher development
- Satellite manufacturing, operations and new infrastructure
- Space regulation and policy, including EU, national and ESA activity
- Defence and security space programmes, including NATO procurement
- Open tenders and deadlines for suppliers
Developments are grouped by importance, then by region, with Europe-wide items first and countries listed alphabetically.
How developments are rated
Each item is rated from 1 to 5 for its potential impact on the European space sector. Level 5 marks developments that reshape funding, programmes, policy or market structure. Level 4 covers material contracts, investments and capability milestones. Level 3 covers relevant tenders, qualification milestones and partnerships, and Level 2 covers smaller awards and early signals. Level 1 items are monitoring only and are normally left out.
Each entry also carries a status tag, such as Signed, Announced, Proposed or Tender open. This shows at a glance whether something is a finished deal, a plan or an open opportunity.
Who the report is for
The report is written for people who need to follow European space without tracking dozens of sources: industry professionals, suppliers watching for tenders, investors, analysts, policymakers and journalists. Sources link to primary records where they are available, so you can check any item yourself.
